Description

​S​outh Stradbroke Island - Aboriginal Culture, Identity & Connections

Unit 1: Culture, identity and connections

Assessment: Inquiry Response – Analytical Essay (Optional)

Students will explore the island using a holistic and inquiry-based learning approach to investigate the relationship between people, animals, plants and places. Observe cultural protocols and reflect on our custodial responsibilities to care for country.

Optional: Overnight camp including bush tucker and campfire (weather permitting). We can tailor a camp program to specifically meet your needs.

Requirements: Students will be outdoors all day so need to be dressed in clothing to protect from the sun and insects. Hats must be worn.
